Araucaria is a Geneva-based boutique law firm founded by Anca Draganescu-Pinawin, specializing in intellectual property and data protection. The firm combines senior-level legal advice with a practical approach to the commercial and operational issues businesses face in Switzerland and internationally.
Experience
Anca is a senior trademark and data protection practitioner with experience advising entrepreneurs, SMEs, established Swiss businesses, and multinational companies.
Before founding Araucaria, she was Senior IP Counsel in the Swiss office of the Novagraaf Group (a Questel company). Her work included international trademark portfolios, IP strategy, enforcement, and online brand protection. She also developed, launched, and led Novagraaf’s Online Brand Protection service.
Alongside private practice, Anca teaches intellectual property, data protection, internet law, and AI law at CREA (Omnes Education Group) at bachelor’s and master’s level. She regularly delivers professional training and corporate workshops, with a particular focus on translating legal requirements into practical business decisions.
